This enables us to process your entries so that you can enter be entered into the shows from whom we are providing show processing services.

Please help us to keep your information up to date by either updating the details in your account or informing us of any changes to your contact details.

10.4. How might we use your personal information?

Your personal information is an important part of our service. We can access your personal data which is attached to your online First Place Processing account to enable us to process your show entries, manage your account, process refunds, contact you with any queries and send out vital show updates (cancellation, etc).

As long as your account is still active, your details are accessible by First Place Processing, Longhedge Show Processing and Show Organisers/Secretaries for whom we are providing our services. Your details are used solely for processing show entries and passing on important information regarding the specific shows it is intended for, e.g. cancellations, updates. They will not be shared with any other parties. Please note we never store any payment details. Card details entered for online payments are encrypted and are not able to be viewed by us./p>

Please be aware that if you enter shows manually by post you will be giving your consent to create an account on First Place Processing for the processing purposes outlined above./p>

When you log into your account we automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system so that we can readily resolve any queries you may have relating to the use of the website.

10.5. Consent

10.5.1 How do you get my consent?

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

Online Payments

  • We are using UPG/FDMS or WorldPay as our online payment system.
  • All online payments incur a charge of GBP0.60* per transaction to cover use of this facility.
  • Payments are accepted by either debit or credit card.
  • First Place Processing do not apply any card processing fees when you enter a show.
  • Your payment reference will appear on your statement as FIRSTPLACEP.
  • Entering a show via First Place Processing is entering a contract with the organisers of the show.
  • Online refunds up to the closing date of a show incur a charge of GBP1.00 per refund requested.
  • The entry cannot be cancelled after the closing date of the show.

* Charges will increase to GBP0.75 per transaction for all shows with start dates on or after September 26th 2018.
